Ashley Stoner

Ashley is an Antitrust/Competition associate in White & Case's Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses on antitrust matters, including civil and criminal litigation, global antitrust merger clearance, and counseling.

Ashley also regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance and competition-related counseling, including joint ventures, trade association practices, information and data-sharing, and integration and due diligence practices, among other topics.

Ashley has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including emerging technology, energy, oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, health care and life sciences, infrastructure, financial services, and private equity.

Ashley spearheaded the Firm’s innovative partnership with the Second Look Project, a non-profit organization located in the District of Columbia that helps individuals obtain sentence reductions under the D.C. Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act (“IRAA”), and a key firm pharmaceutical client. Since Ashley brought this program to the firm, White & Case now represents seven clients with over thirty attorneys across numerous offices. Ashley has given a CLE course on IRAA, and assists teams with litigation strategy, case management, and general counseling, in addition to representing her own client. Ashley also serves on the White & Case Antitrust Racial Justice Task Force, a group of over 90 attorneys and business services professionals taking action in the areas of criminal justice reform, education, and economic development.

Ashley is a frequent author on a wide range of antitrust/competition issues and is a key contributor to White & Case's Antitrust Merger StatPak (WAMS), a first-of-its-kind resource providing information on merger control filing activity by competition authorities around the world.

During law school, Ashley served on the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of International Law as well as the Virginia Law & Business Review. She also served as a Janet Steiger Antitrust Fellow.
