For the fifth straight year, World Trademark Review (WTR) has named White & Case counsel Claudia A. Smith (New York) to its WTR 1000, a directory of the "firms and individuals that are deemed outstanding in this critical area of practice," according to WTR. In the report, Smith was designated a Recommended Expert at the Silver Level for Trademark Prosecution and Strategy in the New York region.
In its WTR 1000 report, World Trademark Review wrote, "An incredible attorney relied on by many big pharmaceutical companies to clear important products, Claudia Smith of White & Case is top notch."
To select firms and individuals for the WTR 1000, the magazine "conducted face-to-face and telephone interviews and exchanged correspondence over a four-month period with hundreds of lawyers, attorneys and their clients involved with trademarks," according to WTR. "Individuals qualify for inclusion in the WTR 1000 upon receiving sufficient positive feedback from market sources with knowledge of their practice and the market in which they operate."
