Dorian Panchyson
Biography
Overview
Dorian is an associate in the Firm's Commercial Litigation Group. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, as well as advising clients on cross-border insolvency and restructuring. Dorian has experience with national and international energy companies, utilities, financial institutions, and service providers, and has been involved in matters in jurisdictions across the United States.
Dorian is also active with the Firm's work with Her Justice, an organization that provides pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence across New York City.
A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Dorian was the Executive Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
Prior to joining the Firm, Dorian clerked in the chambers of the Honorable Rudolph Contreras, United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Honorable John M. Mott, Superior Court of the District of Columbia as a summer law clerk.

Representation of a sovereign country in a case involving allegations of corruption and bid-rigging in connection with the construction of an international airport, securing a $131 million judgment following a three-and-a-half week jury trial in Miami-Dade County.
Representation of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc.
Representation of Hertz and its subsidiaries in their chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding, including the favorable mediation of multiple pre-pandemic class action claims.

Representation of an African state-owned utility company in a settlement with an enforcement agency of the United States Government.
Solar Power Asset Owner and Investment Bank
Representation of a solar energy portfolio company, board member, and its investment banking firm in a series of disputes with a former placement agent in the Commercial Division of New York's Supreme Court.
