Overview
Guillaume Vallat is the Executive Partner of White & Case Paris and a member of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions team.
He is a renowned corporate lawyer having more than 20 years' experience representing clients in all manner of M&A transactions in all industries.
Guillaume is at ease navigating both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions for listed and non-listed companies, with a recognized expertise in complex industrial and corporate M&A transactions, on behalf of corporates (carve-outs) and investment funds (primary LBOs, build-ups).
Guillaume also assists French and foreign companies in the complexities of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations, as well as in matters relating to general French corporate and contract law.

Representation of leading natural resources player EREN Group and its subsidiary Total Eren, a renewable energy production leader, on the acquisition of Total Eren by TotalEnergies.
Altitude Infrastructure THD (2021)
Advising Altitude Infrastructure THD, and its shareholder Altitude Infrastructure Holding, in connection with the investment by funds managed by Swiss Life Asset Management AG, CalsTRS and UBS AM in the capital of Altitude Infrastructure THD.
Davidson Kempner and Triton (2020)
Advising Davidson Kempner and Triton, shareholders of Via Location, in connection with the acquisition of Via Location by Fraikin.
Groupe Frans Bonhomme (2019)
Advising Groupe Frans Bonhomme supported by its main shareholder Centerbridge Partners, in connection with its acquisition of Distribution de Matériaux pour les Travaux Publics (DMTP), which operates Point P Travaux Publics network, from Groupe Saint-Gobain.
Clariant AG (2019)
Advising Clariant AG, one of the world's leading speciality chemical companies, in connection with the sale of its subsidiary Healthcare Packaging International AG to Polaris Buyer LLC, a newly-formed affiliate of Arsenal Capital Partners, which is a leading New York based private equity firm.

Advising Total Eren, a leading French renewable energy Independent Power Producer, on the acquisition of NovEnergia Holding Company, a Southern European Independent Power Producer.
Orange (2019)
Advising Orange S.A. in the setting up of a joint-venture (NowCP) operating a digital trading platform dedicated to the issuances and negotiations of negotiable short term debt securities.
Carambar&Co (2018)
Advising CPK (holding of French-based confectionery group Carambar & Co) in connection with its acquisition of Lutti, the French and Belgian confectionary group, from the German-based group Katjes International.
Orange (2018)
Advising Orange in connection with its partnership with French insurance group Groupama in the French home telesurveillance sector and the establishment, for that purpose, of a joint company named Protectline.
Eurazeo (2017)
Advising Eurazeo, one of the largest European listed investment companies, in the acquisition from Mondelez International of certain assets in the confectionery products business, including a portfolio of local heritage confectionary brands (Poulain, Carambar, Krema, La Pie Qui Chante and Terry's - 5 plants located in France), and in the creation of a new independent group, CPK Group.
EREN Renewable Energy (2017)
Advising EREN Renewable Energy on its combination with Total, after having advised the company on its fundraisings of approximatively €200 million from a consortium of investors led by Bpifrance and comprising Next World, Tikehau Capital and FFP.
Orange (2016)
Advising Orange, one of the world's leading telecommunications operators, on its acquisition of a 65% stake in Groupama Banque and the creation of Orange Bank.
