Biography

Overview

Kathryn Kuethman is a commercial litigation associate in the New York office. She supports clients in complex commercial litigation matters in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. Her practice includes a variety of contract and business disputes, as well as bankruptcy-related litigation. She is also an active member of the Firm's pro bono practice with a particular focus on criminal appeals and family court proceedings.

Kathryn graduated as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar from Columbia Law School. Kathryn was a competitor and student editor for the Williams Institute Moot Court team. Additionally, she represented adolescents in New York City who were aging out of foster care as a clinical student in the Adolescent Representation Clinic, and served as a legal extern in the Domestic Violence Bureau of the Queens District Attorney's Office. Kathryn also was a research assistant at Columbia, where she conducted research on federal sexual harassment law and assisted in the publication of a law school textbook on juvenile and family law.
