Kim King

Kim King is an associate in White & Case's Global Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare and Competition practice groups, where she focuses on complex litigation involving business, antitrust, and IP disputes.

She has particular experience with litigation involving the pharmaceutical industry, including ground-breaking litigation challenging an alleged scheme to foreclose biosimilar competition as well as allegations of fraud on the US patent office, sham patent litigation and a reverse payment settlement agreement. Kim also has experience resolving business disputes related to pharmaceutical licensing agreements, which hinged on the interpretation of various license and royalty terms under a complex set of agreements and amendments.

In addition to her litigation experience, Kim has counseled companies on compliance issues in the life sciences industry, and has participated in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Kim is active in the Firm's pro bono practice and Racial Justice Task Force.

Prior to joining White & Case, Kim worked for the Department of Justice at the US Attorney's Office in the Western District of Washington as well as the Rule of Law Coordinator's Office at US Embassy-Iraq. While in law school, she also worked at the Paris office of White & Case and the Brussels office of a leading European competition law firm.

Kim received her JD from Duke University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as Articles Editor for the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law. Kim additionally represented clients as a student attorney for the Duke Health Justice Clinic. She also holds a law degree from Sciences Po Law School (Paris).
