Biography
Overview
Mohammed is an Omani citizen and a partner in our Construction Practice. He is also the founding partner of The Law Office of Mohammed Al Bahr Advocates and Legal Consultants.
Mohammed advises clients on all aspects of the delivery of major construction and engineering projects, from procurement and the drafting of contracts, to contract administration and dispute resolution. Mohammed has particular knowledge and experience of large scale infrastructure projects and developments that involve bespoke and other FIDIC standard-from construction contracts, including EPC, design/build and traditional lump sum, and construct-only contracts.
In dispute resolution, Mohammed advises on international arbitrations under various forums and rules, dispute adjudication boards and alternative dispute resolution. Mohammed’s experience includes advising in relation to projects concerning large scale infrastructure such as airports, expressways, water networks and large-scale hotel and real estate developments.
Before joining White & Case in 2018, Mohammed previously held the position of Senior Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman. There his experience included providing in-house legal advice to the Government of Oman in relation to the procurement of major infrastructure construction contracts, contracts administration, dispute resolution and international arbitration.
