Nathan Swire
Biography
Overview
Nathan Swire is an associate in the Firm's Commercial Litigation group. He advises clients in a variety of sectors including healthcare, food and beverages, defense, energy, manufacturing, and non-profit, in areas including civil litigation, investigations, and antitrust. Nathan is also active in the Firm's Antitrust Compliance / Counseling and Data Privacy / Cybersecurity teams.
Nathan is actively involved in the Firm's pro bono initiatives, including representation of inmates challenging the conditions of solitary confinement in state prison.
Nathan has authored or co-authored articles on a number of topics including the intersection of big data with antitrust law, cross-border data sharing, American sports law, and national security.
Nathan clerked for the Hon. William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts prior to joining White & Case. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was Editor in Chief of the National Security Journal. Prior to law school, he served as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
