Overview

Seok Ho "Richard" Kang is a litigation associate based in New York. Richard’s practice focuses on international arbitration and antitrust disputes. Richard has worked on power plant and construction arbitration matters under the ICSID and ICC rules, as well as regulatory disputes in the US and Europe. Richard has also been active in a variety of criminal pro bono matters, including death penalty appeal cases. 

Richard’s previous legal experiences include working as an extern at the ICSID Secretariat where he assisted tribunal secretaries with case management, and working as a law clerk at Kim & Chang in Seoul.

Prior to law school, Richard served as a surface combat officer in the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) and as an intelligence officer with the Defense Security Command (DSC). As a civilian, Richard worked as a National Assembly Correspondent with Arirang TV in Seoul.
