Biography

Overview

Shino Asayama is a partner in our Corporate/M&A practice group. Shino advises on a wide range of corporate matters with an emphasis on cross-border and domestic M&A and general corporate matters including antitrust matters, data protection and employment.

Shino worked at Competition Enhancement Office of Economic and Industrial Policy Bureau in Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as a secondee government official and worked on policies in relation to the Japanese Antimonopoly Act (in particular, compliance of competition laws and merger review procedure) for two years from February 2009.

From September 2014 to October 2015 she managed the Japan Desk in our London office, supporting Japanese companies seeking investment opportunities in the EMEA region.

Shino Asayama is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
