Shravya Govindgari
Biography
Overview
Shravya Govindgari is an associate in the Miami office and a member of the Firm's Global Commercial Litigation practice. She has experience in complex commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, representing clients in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and financial services industries. She also regularly contributes to the Firm's publications on issues related to drug pricing in the US.
In addition, she maintains a robust pro bono practice. Particularly, she focuses on representing clients in sealing procedures for both family law and criminal matters. She has also been involved in criminal appeals and non-profit representation.
Shravya graduated as a James Kent Scholar from Columbia Law School in 2020. At Columbia, she competed in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, winning an award for the best brief. She volunteered at the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Project and was a legal extern at The Bronx Defenders. Through the Columbia Health Justice Advocacy Clinic, Shravya also advocated for legislative changes related to lead hazards in New York State on behalf of a non-profit organization. She was also an Articles Editor for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review.
