Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Intellectual Property Practice with the addition of first-chair litigator Anna Naydonov as a partner in Washington, DC.

"Anna has extensive experience leading clients through trademark and false advertising litigation along with cutting-edge digital assets, privacy, and advertising claims substantiation expertise,” said Anita Varma, Head of White & Case's Intellectual Property Practice. "Her arrival marks a compelling opportunity to continue to expand and diversify the practice, complementing our leading life sciences expertise."

Naydonov routinely litigates high-stakes cases before federal trial and appellate courts and has vast experience leading litigation teams and takings cases to jury and bench trials.  She also represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the US Patent and Trademark Office and the National Advertising Division. In addition to her significant litigation experience, Naydonov counsels some of the world's most famous brands on advertising claims substantiation (including such areas as sustainability/ESG, web3 and blockchain and social media campaigns and promotions), trademark enforcement, copyright, and right of publicity issues.

"Anna has a track record of success both in and out of the courtroom, with strong client relationships that will align well with our existing Intellectual Property Practice," said Jack Pace, Regional Section Head of Americas Competition. "She will be instrumental in expanding the Firm’s trademark, false advertising and class action litigation work, and we are extremely pleased to welcome another leading, first-chair litigator to our team and our DC office."

Naydonov joins White & Case from Finnegan, where she was a partner in its trademark, copyright and advertising group, co-chaired its litigation section, and co-led the blockchain and digital assets group.
