At Legal Media Group's Women in Business Law Awards 2022 EMEA presented on June 23, White & Case was named United Kingdom Firm of the Year, France Firm of the Year, and Central Europe Firm of the Year and in addition received three firm awards:
- Career Development: International Firm of the Year
- Diverse Women Lawyers: International Firm of the Year
- Work-Life Balance: International Firm of the Year
Three White & Case lawyers also received Lawyer of the Year awards in the following categories:
- Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year (Claire Matheson Kirton, Partner, Dubai)
- Securities Litigator of the Year (Diane Lamarche, Partner, Paris)
- Debt Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year (Eva Svobodová, Local Partner, Prague)
Individuals and firms are selected for the Women in Business Law Awards following an extensive research process by LMG. Individual winners are judged on their professional accomplishments as well as advocacy and influence. Firm and country/regional winners are judged on their ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and provide work/life programs to enable women to pursue legal careers. Criteria include the ratio of women to men lawyers (at all levels of seniority), the retention of women associates to partner level and any relevant diversity initiatives.
