Bloomberg has ranked White & Case LLP as the top legal advisor in Asia-Pacific for M&A (excluding Japan) and private equity by deal value in its Global M&A Legal League Tables for Q1 2023.
The Firm was the #1 legal advisor in M&A by deal value (excluding Japan), advising on 14 deals valued at $18.4 billion, representing 10.9 percent market share – a 6 percent increase on 2022. In private equity the Firm also reached #1 in deal value through its work on transactions valued at $13 billion that made up 22.6 percent market share, for an increase of 13.9 percent on last year.
Globally the Firm was the #1 legal advisor on cross-border transactions by deal value, advising on 45 deals valued at $23.4 billion. This accounts for 11.1 percent market share, a 4.9 percent increase on 2022.
